The Arc of Butler County’s Community Living Program provides a state licensed, stable, and welcoming environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and /or Autism Spectrum Disorder who desire to live an independent, self-directed life. This program includes opportunities to live residentially within the community/neighborhoods our individuals grew up in and love throughout the Butler County area.
The Community Living program is equipped to meet the diverse and often complex needs of each individual with available 24-hour support and supervision provided by highly trained Direct Support Professionals. Each home is situated in a residential neighborhood and is adapted to meet the resident’s specific needs/preferences. Community Living provides a unique experience that encourages each resident to live as independently as possible, aims to teach desired skill sets through programming implementation and provides the opportunity for lifelong growth and development and self-sufficiency.
