PARENTS OF SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS

What is the Local Task Force?

  • The Local Task Force (LTF) works to strengthen, improve, and expand educational opportunities that meet individual student needs.
  • Provides space to allow parents, administrators, students, and agency staff to share information, resources and collaborate on solutions.
  • Solve problems as a team and refer individual concerns to the appropriate person or organization.

Benefits of attending:

  • Connect with other parents, school administrators, and agencies to provide support, encouragement, and address challenges.
  • Impact the future resources, programming, and policies that will shape the lives of your child and others in the school system.
  • Learn through guest speakers to facilitate meaningful discussions and provide information to the best support your child.
